"I Do": The Keiser Wedding

This past weekend I was in my friend, Noell's, wedding. We met right around the same time I met Derek, at volleyball practice, and we became friends almost instantly. There have been a lot of high school memories and late night sleepovers with this girl! I was honored to be a part of her big day. As she said in her (beautifully self-written) vows, "It is a safe thing to trust God with the desires He creates." This meant so much to me, to hear her say, because this girly girl has been dreaming of her fairy-tale romance for years. I've seen her struggle so hard to wait on  God's timing through having her heart broken, and seeing things work out for other girls. This past year I saw her come to a place of surrender and just becoming totally content to let God be her True Love. And in His goodness, it wasn't long before Trevor came on the scene. I never thought that Noell would find a guy so much like her! They are a couple crazy in love with each other and with God, and also love life and love to be a little goofy. ;o)

It was a beautiful day to witness them entering into the covenant of marriage together, and brought back lots of memories for me as my own wedding day was this weekend last year.  They had a touching ceremony with vows they wrote themselves, and a sweet foot washing ceremony symbolizing their commitment to serve each other. The attention and care in all the pretty DIY details was amazing! The bride and her family handmade all the centerpieces, flowers, hairpieces and necklaces for the bridesmaids, arbor... everything! All their planning paid off and it was a great day.
